The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 14, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) once again brought up his Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) concerns right before Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was set to leave on the Forrester jet.
Hope decided that maybe Liam should just come to Rome and happily invited him to join the fun, but Liam didn’t want to be her chaperone.
Instead, Liam insisted it wasn’t too late to pull Thomas from the trip.
After Liam begged Hope and said this just didn’t feel right, Hope said she had to get to the airport.
Liam argued that the jet would wait for Hope, but she snapped that she couldn’t tell Thomas not to come and that was that.
If Liam didn’t want to go on this trip himself, then Hope warned that he’d just have to accept the fact that Thomas was going to be there.
Hope assured Liam that Thomas was her lead designer and nothing more before cutting the goodbye short.
After Hope left abruptly, she cried outside over the argument that had just gone down.
Meanwhile, Liam worked himself into a tizzy as he flashed back to finding Hope in a compromising position with Thomas.
Liam also thought back to Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fears about Hope’s true feelings.
At Forrester Creations on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) talked to Thomas and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about how she wasn’t going on this trip since she knew it was about business.
However, Taylor obviously wasn’t thrilled about the news that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was going, especially since the timing wasn’t in Taylor’s favor.
After Taylor said her goodbyes to Steffy, she told Thomas how proud she was of him.
Thomas offered reassurance about Hope and said nothing would happen between them in Italy, so Taylor said she wasn’t worried about Thomas and left it at that.
In the design office, Brooke complained to Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) about Taylor playing matchmaker and then spinning things around on her like she broke the pact.
Donna and Katie sided with Brooke, who was at least glad she realized Ridge was the love of her life.
Brooke mentioned that Ridge was being cautious and that he wasn’t even calling her “my Logan,” so Katie and Donna agreed that was weird.
Nevertheless, the Logan sisters were hopeful about this trip changing things since Rome was such a magical city.
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) let Katie know that it wouldn’t be magical without her by his side and kissed her goodbye.
Before Brooke left to board the jet, Donna said she had a good feeling that Rome was going to change everything for Ridge and his Logan.
Back with Taylor, she had a conversation alone with Ridge, who didn’t want to get into all her drama with Brooke.
Taylor assumed Brooke would continue her smear campaign in Italy, but she asked Ridge to just remember the source.
After Taylor said she loved Ridge and always would, she admitted he was a hard man to shake.
Later, Trevor (Ryan Stroud) the Forrester pilot checked in with everyone on the plane.
Brooke, Ridge, Steffy and Carter were all there, so they were just waiting on Hope and Thomas.
After Thomas showed up, he mentioned getting stuck in traffic on the way over. Brooke said she got a text from Hope and expected her to arrive any minute.
Steffy couldn’t imagine that Hope’s goodbye to Liam was easy and exchanged a look with Thomas.
Once Hope appeared and apologized for the delay, Trevor urged everyone to buckle their seatbelts for takeoff.
Brooke asked Hope if everything was OK with Liam, so Hope acted like it was all under control and would be fine.
As Hope settled in for the trip, she seemed deep in thought and eventually looked over at Thomas.
