The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 28, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) insisted he wanted to surprise Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) in Italy and that he tried to make it for the fashion preview. Liam wanted to show Hope how much he loved her and let her know he was sorry for doubting her.
However, Liam missed the whole event – and that made him wonder if things would’ve turned out differently if he’d arrived in time.
Hope was confused over why Liam would leave without seeing her, but Liam pointed out that he didn’t say he didn’t see her.
Liam mentioned how he planned to take Hope to the Stella Maris after the show, so she said she would’ve loved that and wished they’d gone.
Of course, Liam seemed skeptical and eventually decided it was time for Hope to do some explaining.
After Liam pressured Hope to tell him what she did after the event, he got her to admit she went sight-seeing.
Liam urged Hope to share who she went sight-seeing with, but Hope said she wanted to focus on being home with Liam and her family.
Nevertheless, Liam kept pushing and said they both knew who she went to the Colosseum with.
Since Hope was struggling with this, Liam suggested he’d help her confess and angrily tried to get her to repeat after him.
Hope eventually whispered that she kissed Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and had a stare-down with Liam as she cried.
At the cliff house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gave John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) updates on Liam witnessing Hope initiating a kiss with Thomas.
Despite the pain of this betrayal, Steffy hoped that Liam could find forgiveness and that his marriage could survive.
Finn wondered what Liam was going to do before Steffy flashed back to Liam kissing her in Rome and shuddered over the memory.
At Forrester Creations, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) was thrilled for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) now that she was back together with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), but he knew this would be difficult for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
Once RJ found out Ridge asked Brooke to be his Logan forever, he said that kind of sounded like a marriage proposal.
Brooke wondered how RJ would feel about her remarrying Ridge, so he was excited over the idea – though he hinted that Taylor would be heartbroken at the prospect of losing Ridge forever.
In Taylor’s office, Ridge assured Taylor that he didn’t want to hurt her. Taylor admitted that part of her was hurting for herself, but part of her was hurting for Ridge since he’d inevitably face more heartache because of Brooke.
Although Taylor wanted Ridge to be happy, she told him to keep his eyes open. Taylor trashed Brooke’s history and felt that her rival would never change at her core.
After Taylor predicted that Brooke would betray Ridge, get caught and manipulate him into forgiving her, she complained about him setting himself up for pain and disappointment.
The fact that Ridge always put himself back in this situation was heartbreaking to Taylor since she loved her ex and wanted to protect him.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge and Brooke will keep sharing their reunion news, but is Taylor right about Brooke’s upcoming betrayal?
