The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 10, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) thought back to her romantic night with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and smiled, but she could hear her own heartbeat pounding as she flashed back to her close moment with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) arrived in the CEO office moments later and once again pushed for confirmation that Hope had no inappropriate feelings for Thomas.
Hope argued that she simply got caught up in the excitement with Thomas, who helped save her line from collapse.
After Hope talked about co-parenting, she admitted she now considered Thomas a good friend.
Hope claimed to have no romantic feelings at all, so Steffy said she just wanted to make sure Hope wasn’t following some of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) old patterns.
Although Hope was Brooke’s daughter, she insisted she wasn’t like her when it came to guys and would never undermine her marriage by doing anything inappropriate with any man – let alone Thomas.
Hope insisted she’d never felt more connected to Liam and added that her relationship with Thomas was purely platonic, but she dropped her water bottle at one point and seemed a bit flustered.
Even so, Steffy acknowledged that maybe she’d let her imagination run wild.
Hope promised Steffy there was no need to worry and gave her a hug – though Hope looked nervous over her shoulder.
In the design office on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) found Thomas sketching and offered praise.
That said, Taylor wished Thomas had a healthier balance between work and his home life.
Thomas pointed out that he went on dates, but Taylor argued that they were nothing significant.
Once Thomas realized Taylor was still concerned about his potential feelings for Hope, he reassured her and didn’t mind the fact that his mom cared enough to keep checking in.
At Spencer Publications, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) pitched a daily roundup from whatever the top influencers were posting about, so Liam approved of his brother’s updates and thought the new app had potential.
Wyatt suggested Liam could talk to Hope and see if fashion houses could utilize this before joking that maybe Liam could even reach out to Thomas.
Liam wasn’t amused and felt it was just a matter of trying to predict when Thomas would cross the line again.
However, Hope was watching out for red flags according to Liam, so Wyatt said she wasn’t one to lie and that Liam had no reason to doubt her.
Although Liam trusted Hope, he was frustrated over all the time she spent with Thomas at work and didn’t want anything to interfere in his marriage.
Liam confessed that things were going well in his relationship and that Hope had never been more loving and affectionate.
Wyatt thought that was good news and felt Liam deserved all the happiness in the world.
After Liam played up how Hope was a woman of integrity, Wyatt mentioned how the apple fell far from the tree.
It was hard for Wyatt to believe Brooke was Hope’s mom sometimes.
Liam said Hope had such a specific moral code, so he never had to question her fidelity or commitment.
