The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 27, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) found a toy on the floor and looked distraught over missing his family. Once Finn gazed at a framed photo of himself looking cozy with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), he flashed back to proposing to her.
Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) showed up after a flight home from Europe and said she came back to talk some sense into Finn. That led to Taylor insisting Finn could make this right if he took the necessary steps.
Finn had to make Steffy see that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) wouldn’t be part of his life since that was the only way she was coming home with the kids.
Taylor ranted about Sheila’s actions in the alley before Finn admitted this separation from his family was taking a toll.
As Taylor raised her voice, she pushed Finn to do something about it! Taylor snapped at Finn to prove to Steffy that it was safe to come home to him.
After Taylor said she didn’t care what Finn had to do, she reiterated that he needed to get Sheila out of his life and make sure no harm came to his family.
At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) apartment, Sheila expressed her gratitude for her freedom and offered to help him with a favor if he ever needed one.
Since Sheila wanted updates on how he knew Judge Evan Scott (Michael Corbett), Deacon admitted they went way back and assured Sheila that he believed in second chances.
Sheila insisted she had changed and added that Deacon was a big reason why. Since they already agreed to end their romance, Sheila told Deacon that she wouldn’t pop in and cause problems.
Once Sheila thanked Deacon again and headed for the door, he called out to stop her. Deacon admitted that maybe he was crazy, but he felt he’d been alone too long.
Sheila asked what Deacon was saying, so he told her that he didn’t want to be alone anymore.
At the Forrester mansion, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) warned that Eric Forrester (John McCook) would feel really betrayed if RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) told Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about his declining condition.
Donna insisted that Eric needed drive and purpose, so she pushed RJ to keep working on the new collection and urged him not to give up on his granddad.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge insisted it was impossible to do two collections at once based on Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) budget news, but Carter pointed out that Eric wasn’t backing down.
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) reminded Ridge of Carter’s idea and said that maybe RJ could find out what was going on with Eric.
Carter agreed to work on the numbers and try to minimize the cuts – and in the meantime, Ridge could talk to RJ and try to get Eric to agree to collaborate on one couture line.
After Carter left on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Brooke told Ridge that everything would work out for the best and added that she’s always on his side.
Ridge just couldn’t understand why Eric was doing this and putting RJ in the middle.
RJ appeared in the doorway and claimed he could answer that, but he flashed back to Donna’s earlier warning and decided against revealing Eric’s health woes.
Instead, RJ said Ridge had to understand that Eric needed to do this collection. Once RJ wished Ridge wouldn’t stand in Eric’s way, he urged his dad to give Eric the support he needed and deserved.
Ridge asked if that was it, so RJ confirmed that’s all he had to say on the topic.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that Eric’s secret will come out eventually, so there’ll be more drama once that happens.
