The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) may have to step up his game if he hopes to keep Katie Logan (Heather Tom) in his life. Carter has been unlucky in love more times than we can count, so how far will he go to hold onto this solid romance?
In the past, Carter was the kind of guy who’d jump right into relationships.
B&B fans have seen Carter dive headfirst into flimsy romances that seemed destined to fail from the start.
Carter tends to fall fast and hard, so it’s a big deal that he’s really taken his time to get where he is with Katie.
That said, Carter and Katie are in a good place now, so Carter doesn’t want to lose what they share.
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is the only problem since he’s so committed to winning Katie back and rebuilding their family.
It’s easy to see how nervous Carter is about Bill pulling Katie close again.
Of course, Carter isn’t just worried for himself! Since Carter knows how Bill operates, he’s also afraid that Bill will reunite with Katie just to break her heart for the umpteenth time.
With that in mind, could Carter set a trap to prove Bill can’t be trusted?
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) urged Carter to have faith that Katie would turn Bill down, but he may decide he needs an insurance policy.
When it comes to Bill and Katie’s history, Brooke has been the biggest hurdle over the years.
Katie has always felt like Brooke’s runner-up, so Carter might recruit Katie’s sister as part of his plan.
Bill claims Katie is the only woman he wants now, but would he feel the same way if Brooke was practically throwing herself at him?
Carter might talk Brooke into setting a temptation trap and proving to Katie that Bill would choose Brooke if given the chance.
If it seems like Bill’s wearing Katie down and in danger of winning her over, this might be Carter’s last-ditch strategy to help her see the light.
In other words, Carter might get Brooke to pretend she’s seducing Bill and see if he’ll surrender – perhaps right when Katie’s about to walk in.
Naturally, a trap like that could backfire on Carter if Bill proves his loyalty instead and shows Katie that he can indeed be trusted!
