With that in mind, maybe Deacon will decide Sheila’s history doesn’t matter anymore.
Deacon might get inspired by the way Hope’s taking charge of her love life and determine that he’s ready to do the same.

Sheila once thought she was going to be Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) wife, but his decision to pop the question was all about trapping her.
That trap failed in the end, but it still hurt Sheila to have the new life she’d built come tumbling down at the time.
Maybe Deacon will resolve to give Sheila a real marriage proposal and another chance at happiness.
Sheila would no doubt love the idea of making Deacon her husband, especially since it might help her convince John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that she’s capable of having meaningful relationships.
