The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) recovery will prove long and complicated. Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) greatest fear is that Eric will hate him for not honoring his wishes and pulling the plug, so there’s a chance that fear will come true.
Eric had made peace with his passing, but Ridge ultimately caved in and let John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) try the experimental procedure.
Now Eric has a chance to live, but it could come at a cost if he can’t make a full recovery.
Of course, it seems likely Eric will indeed get back to 100 percent in time, but what happens until then?
Eric could get bitter about his circumstances and blame Ridge as he faces these upcoming recovery struggles.
Perhaps Eric will blame Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and the others on some level too since they worked to change Ridge’s mind about removing him from the ventilator.
Eric might argue that he’d have rather passed on than not be able to design, dance and live normally.
It might be an interesting story if Donna and Ridge started to bond over being shut out.
Ridge and Donna could sympathize with each other, so maybe that could grow into something that’d cause trouble.
Donna and Ridge certainly aren’t strangers to cheating storylines on B&B, so maybe another one is coming up.
Could Ridge betray Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) with Donna at some point?
If an affair happened, Donna would obviously be betraying Eric and Brooke as well.
Brooke is normally the one going behind Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) back and causing romantic problems, so it’d serve Brooke right for Donna to do the same to her.
Even if Ridge and Donna simply kissed, there’d still be some drama to play from that.
Brooke might come along and witness it, so that could fracture her relationship with Ridge along with her sister connection with Donna.
Regardless, Eric could shut Donna and Ridge out as they try to support him, so we’ll give you updates on whether that might bring the two of them together – one way or another!
