The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) could face some trouble in paradise. Donna and Eric have been offscreen for a while, so there’s no way to know for sure how their relationship is doing.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and the rest of the Forresters seem to think that Eric and Donna are happier than ever.
However, only Donna and Eric can really answer the question of whether they’re still living in bliss.
When the time comes for Eric and Donna to have a story again, they’ll inevitably face some obstacles.
If Donna and Eric aren’t having secret problems already, they’ll have to deal with some down the road.
There have been some hints in B&B spoilers about Donna and Eric facing an outside threat of some sort, so that’s something to keep in mind.
There’s supposed to be someone who reenters the picture who doesn’t approve of Eric and Donna being together – that is unless spoilers for 2023 change.
This Donna and Eric news was featured in preview info before the year kicked off, so it’s possible the show will shift gears and take another story route.
Regardless, there may come a point when Eric and Donna’s relationship doesn’t seem so solid anymore.
If that happens, Eric just might find himself missing Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) and wishing he hadn’t pushed her away.
Quinn never would’ve had an affair with Carter if Eric hadn’t shut her down and driven her into another man’s arms.
Likewise, it was Eric’s choice to cheat with Donna when Quinn wanted to make things work.
Eric ultimately set Quinn free to be with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) after his own affair, but that obviously didn’t work out very well for Quinn now that she’s bolted.
Was Eric and Quinn better matches for each other after all? That might be an interesting idea for the show to explore somewhere down the line.
If life with Donna starts to lose its luster, maybe Eric could start reminiscing about happier days with Quinn by his side.
It’d be a great setup for Quinn’s return if B&B can talk Rena Sofer into it eventually.
Will Eric regret his divorce and decide to make some updates to his love life again?
Time will tell, but Eric could easily get bored with Donna and start longing for Quinn’s spice!
