The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) puzzling behavior could point to some sad news. In the August 17 episode, Eric brought up the idea of doing a legacy line and collaborating with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) like they’ve done before.
It seemed like Eric was feeling wistful about the past and longing to recreate the good old days of teaming up with his son.
Of course, Eric was also reflecting on his legacy and seemed offended over Ridge acting like his designs weren’t hip enough.
Eric defended his work and ultimately got frustrated over Ridge trying to delay this project.
Something weird is definitely going on here, so we have to believe Eric is hiding something.
This could be the start of a new B&B storyline that’ll really shake things up for Eric’s loved ones.
What if Eric is so fixated on this idea because he believes he doesn’t have much time left? Could Eric have a mystery illness of some sort?
It’s possible Eric was given a shocking diagnosis from his doctor that’s affecting his perspective and actions.
In that case, Eric might be keeping a serious health issue under wraps.
Perhaps Eric doesn’t want the Forresters to know about his private battle. It could be a situation where Eric wants to keep things normal for as long as he can.
Eric might also feel like the family has far too much going on for him to pile on anything else.
Maybe Eric doesn’t want to reveal a major medical problem with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) free and all the marriage turmoil that’s been happening.
Regardless, it’s troubling for Eric to be so obsessed with preserving his legacy and spending quality time with Ridge.
This could easily point to Eric fearing that the end is near, so he may secretly be preparing for his own demise.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge may regret blowing Eric off once the truth comes out, so stick with us for updates on Eric’s potentially disturbing news.
