The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that many fans are holding out hope for a Christmas miracle when it comes to Eric Forrester (John McCook) and the grim condition he’s facing. Eric fears he doesn’t have much time left, so he’s planning an epic party and hoping to bid his loved ones farewell.
However, it’s possible that a life-saving treatment will be found in the nick of time. It looks like John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and a physician named Dr. Martin (Cirie Fields) will all lend their expertise to this case eventually.
It could mean something now that a determined medical team’s about to rise up in support of Eric. Although Eric has been avoiding the hospital, perhaps his life could truly be saved by additional testing.
This could easily be a situation where Eric has been misdiagnosed, especially since B&B fans don’t even know what the diagnosis is!
Maybe Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) got it wrong – and if he did, that could give Eric an opportunity to recover and find his way back to a healthy version of himself.
Naturally, we have to think about how that could affect Eric’s role in Forrester Creations. If Eric survives, he may feel like he has a new lease on life and a real chance to keep leading the company like he wants.
Although Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will be thankful if Eric survives, how long will that gratitude last? Ridge may eventually find himself wanting to get back on the Forrester throne since he initially believed this was a more temporary situation.
Ridge has been trying to keep Eric happy in his final months, but what happens if Eric suddenly could have many more years?
That’d be wonderful news from a personal standpoint, but it could complicate things on a professional level – at least in Ridge’s eyes.
Ridge’s initial relief over Eric’s survival would probably fade in time, which could leave him eager to take back the CEO office. The next storyline could be a new Forrester feud if Eric and Ridge’s father-son conflict starts back up.
