The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show has an opportunity to explore a new side of John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Ever since Finn’s debut, he’s been the good doctor and a devoted family man, but now some flaws are finally coming into focus.
Since Finn’s experience a fall from grace, B&B could take that a step further. After all, there’s always been lots of talk about how strange it is for evil Sheila to have a saintly son like Finn.
Now that Finn’s not so saintly anymore, perhaps it’s time to explore the bad seed angle.
Sheila gave birth to Finn, so he shares DNA with the same woman that everyone’s calling a psychopath and a monster.
It’s clear that Sheila is irredeemable in the eyes of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and so many others, but Finn has been defending her.
There’s a bond between Finn and Sheila that he can’t really understand, but maybe he’ll understand it more as time goes on.
We’re already seeing Finn’s temper flare at Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), so there’s a dangerous vibe underneath – like it’d be easy for Finn to surrender to some sinister impulses that he inherited from Sheila.
It’d be interesting if Finn indeed caved to that side of himself and teamed up with Sheila for revenge.
Regardless, Finn’s vengeful tendencies could definitely come out to play if Liam continues to interfere in his marriage.
That’s especially true since Finn doesn’t even know about the stolen kisses yet.
Finn is sure to blow his top once he finds out Liam locked lips with Steffy in Rome and then once more after they returned to Los Angeles.
The news of those kisses could send Finn over the edge, so maybe his sinister Sheila side will take over.
Could Finn take a more villainous turn as his rage toward Liam grows stronger? Will B&B make some updates to Finn’s character and take him down a more nefarious path?
