The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that two characters could find themselves with multiple reasons to commiserate. We can’t help but notice that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) are facing some of the same struggles right now.
After Hope betrayed Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), she insisted the real problem was Liam’s lingering love for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
That frustrated Liam since he felt like Hope was ignoring the bigger issue and passing blame.
Now Finn has betrayed Steffy by developing a weak spot for Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), but he feels Liam is the main threat to their marriage.
Although Finn knows he messed up, he can’t ignore the fact that Liam wants Steffy back.
Perhaps it isn’t a coincidence that B&B has told similar stories back-to-back. Maybe the writers had a plan in mind that involved giving Finn and Hope some reasons to bond.
Hope was hurt when Liam refused to fight for their marriage, so that’s something Finn could understand as well.
Finn may feel like Steffy should love him enough to forgive him and put their family back together.
Hope might even have some sympathy for Finn over his connection to Sheila.
After all, Hope had a void in her heart too until she finally let Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in and was able to fill it.
There was a time when Deacon was the town pariah, so Hope faced backlash for spending time with him and wanting him in her life.
It’s obviously a little difficult with Sheila since she’s far more dangerous, but the overall idea still applies.
Hope knows what it’s like to feel drawn to a problematic parent that everyone else says to stay away from.
Just having someone verbalize that and try to understand could be a great comfort to Finn.
However, Steffy and Liam’s forever love would be the biggest reason for Finn and Hope to bond. It’s easy to imagine Hope and Finn getting close as they relate to each other.
If that happens, you’d better believe Steffy’s jealousy will be unleashed!
It’s one thing for Hope and Steffy to pass Liam back and forth like they’ve done for so many years. It’s quite another for Hope to connect with the man who claims Steffy is his one and only.
Finn has been devoted to Steffy alone up to now, so she may flip out if she fears Hope is making her move and creating another love triangle.
