The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has a rough time ahead of her. Hope is already battling insecurities about her skills as a mother since Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) chose Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as his legal guardian instead.
That decision left Hope feeling like a failure in the parent department.
Hope’s wondering where she went wrong despite Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) attempts to persuade her that this isn’t her fault.
Of course, Liam may hope that things will get better eventually, but what if they get worse instead?
Another round of bad news may be brewing for this B&B couple.
Douglas will indeed move in the cliff house with Steffy, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Hayes Finnegan (Iliana and Vienna Norris), so Hope will feel like an outsider.
If Douglas thrives under Steffy’s care, that could make Hope feel even worse about her failure as a mom.
This whole situation could become a major obsession for Hope and leave her pulling away from Liam as she dwells on it.
Hope will have to deal with this Douglas custody loss and all the pain that brings. Liam may hope they can find a path to a new normal, but what if they can’t?
This could change Hope on a pretty profound level and leave her struggling to connect with Liam in the aftermath.
Finn and Steffy may become the couple that’s doing better than ever while Liam and Hope’s own relationship starts to crumble.
In other words, Hope and Liam’s marriage could fall apart if this Douglas drama takes a serious toll over time.
It seems like Liam and Hope are overdue for some romantic issues, so those could be brewing thanks to this Douglas ordeal.
Although Liam may try to keep love alive, he may find it’s impossible if Hope’s stuck moping over Douglas’ absence at the cabin.
This will leave a void in Hope’s heart and home, so Liam may grow concerned for his own relationship with Hope sooner or later.
Could all this lead to marriage problems for Hope and Liam?
