The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) recently made a suggestion to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), who was struggling in the aftermath of his divorce decision.
Steffy pushed Liam to repair his marriage, but Liam pointed out that he’d still have to deal with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) coparenting with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and working with him at Forrester Creations, too.
However, Steffy suggested that maybe Hope would leave Forrester Creations and let Thomas take over the line.
Liam argued that his trust issues with Hope would remain, but we want to focus on Steffy’s idea for a moment.
Could Hope really resign and hand over the reins of Hope for the Future to Thomas? Will Steffy’s idea become reality?
Even if Hope doesn’t walk away from Forrester Creations now, it could certainly be something she chooses to do down the road.
If Liam ever reaches a point where he’ll consider forgiving Hope, he’ll need her to make some sacrifices and meet him halfway.
Hope will have to forgive Liam’s own Steffy kiss blunders, but that doesn’t change the fact that Liam can’t trust her around Thomas.
There’s no getting around the coparenting thing since Hope will always be Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) mother, but the work problem could easily be solved.
Hope might turn in her resignation and let Thomas take over the line since he knows her vision so well anyway.
There’s no need for Hope to be so hands-on when Thomas can predict what she wants, so she might take a step back and expect him to handle it on his own.
That would fit with Steffy’s suggestion and might open the door to Hope’s reunion with Liam eventually.
B&B fans know Liam and Hope always seem to end up back together sooner or later – for better or for worse!
Liam may convince himself that he can find a new path forward without Hope, but will he reconsider once he faces life without her?
Hope may continue to explore things with Thomas as well, but there’s no guarantee their romance will stick.
Instead, Liam and Hope might be on a long and winding journey that’s destined to end in their reunion.
That said, Liam may not be able to tolerate Hope’s work partnership with Thomas, so Hope could resign for the sake of rebuilding her relationship when the time comes.
Thomas would no doubt be disappointed by that news, but it might be something he has to learn to live with.
