The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers indicate that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) may be on the verge of a major character shift. B&B fans know Hope’s been fighting desperately to preserve her marriage and avoid caving in when it comes to her growing feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
However, Hope’s also fighting something else on a deeper level. This is really about Hope being terrified that she’ll turn into her mother since she doesn’t approve of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) mistakes and doesn’t want to repeat them in her own life.
The more Hope insists she’s not like Brooke, the greater the chances that she’ll prove herself wrong and become just like her.
Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) talked about Hope having Logan blood and certainly sees the potential for Hope to head down Brooke’s familiar road.
All signs point to Hope blowing up her relationship with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) one way or another.
Hope seems poised to shatter her marriage vows by pouncing on Thomas, so this could change life as she knows it forever.
If Hope loses Liam and the family they’ve built together, she’s sure to sink to a low point.
It’s easy to imagine Hope begging Liam to understand and get past her Rome blunder, but divorce may be the only option in his eyes.
Hope’s line could also be affected if Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) cancel it.
Ridge and Steffy might cut Hope for the Future or at least put it on hold if they feel like Hope’s triggering Thomas’ obsessive tendencies.
Will all of this lead to Hope hitting rock bottom and resorting to some self-destructive behavior?
Since this story is about Hope turning into her mom, could Hope become an alcoholic?
Brooke has faced her own battle with the bottle, so it might be Hope’s turn to follow in her footsteps.
It’d be a gripping storyline that Annika Noelle would no doubt knock out of the park, but we’ll see how it all plays out.
