The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thorne Forrester’s (Winsor Harmon) return could open the door to some new storylines. In an interview with SOD, Harmon opened up about how happy he was to be back on B&B for Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) grand gala.
In fact, Harmon’s holding out hope that maybe this could lead to some other return stints. There’s a chance Head Writer and Executive Producer Bradley Bell could put Thorne back in the mix more often.
It all depends on how viewers respond and what kind of stories Bell might cook up, but Harmon’s staying positive about the situation.
“We’ll see how the audience reacts and I think things will start popping in Brad’s head and he’ll start writing for Thorne again,” Harmon said.
Since Harmon would like to have a bigger role in the action, let’s consider some ways the show might begin using Thorne more.
It’d be easy to have Thorne feud with Ridge Forrester (Thorne Kaye) and some of his other family members at Forrester Creations, but maybe we should mull over a more romantic angle, too.
When Ingo Rademacher’s version of Thorne was on the show, Thorne fell hard for Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and even married her ahead of a custody hearing for Will Spencer (Finnegan George).
Thorne later got an annulment from Katie and moved away, but that was due to a combination of his personal struggles and her lingering feelings for Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Maybe the stars could align for a second chance now that Winsor Harmon is back in the role of Thorne, especially since Katie has put Bill firmly in the rearview mirror.
It’s Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) who has stolen Katie’s heart at this point, but Thorne might steal it back and offer a second chance at romance. Carter could have some competition on his hands if B&B lets Thorne slide back in and offer some temptation.
It seems like Katie and Carter’s relationship has stalled anyway, so this might be a good way to jumpstart things again. It could motivate Carter to put a little more effort into keeping Katie, but she could still be tempted to look in Thorne’s direction!
