The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that changes could be brewing for Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) character. Liam likes to think he’s one of the good guys, but fans have often considered him a wolf in sheep’s clothing based on how he treats women.
Maybe it’s time for Liam to just ditch the “good guy” façade and become a true bad boy like his old man!
It could happen now that Liam’s life with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is on the verge of falling apart.
After all, Hope’s latest storyline is about the inner conflict of honoring her boring marriage commitment and satisfying her inner desire for something more dangerous with bad boy Thomas.
Once Hope inevitably blows up her marriage through Thomas drama in Italy, Liam might decide that nice guys finish last.
This would be the perfect time for a Liam reboot if B&B writers want to do something different with the character.
Back in May, Liam had a chat with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and praised him for being a great role model.
There was a lot of admiration on both sides as the Spencer men came together for a sweet father-son moment.
Of course, we’re not sure we’d really call Bill a great role model considering his past mistakes!
It’s true that Bill made sacrifices to put Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) away for good, but that doesn’t erase everything else.
We can’t forget about Bill’s whole sinister history since he has a list of transgressions a mile long.
Bill is a criminal who’s played games with hearts and carried out twisted schemes for years, so he’s not someone most people would want to emulate.
Although Bill is a little less sinister these days, he’s still got a rotten streak and will always go after what he wants by any means necessary.
Bill has a hot temper and a vengeful side, so Liam could embrace these qualities in the aftermath of the Rome mess that’s looming.
If Liam and Hope’s marriage ends, it could bring the end of Liam’s nice guy persona, too – at least for a while.
It might be interesting to see Liam take a more menacing turn and maybe even plot revenge on Hope as well as Thomas.
That’s what Bill would do if he were betrayed in Liam’s situation, so stay tuned to see if Liam might become the new “Dollar Bill.”
