The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) could live up to the title that he recently gave himself. On the March 14 episode, Liam called himself the “king of messing up” as he tried to explain his point of view to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
When Hope defended Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) desire to do better, Liam shut down the idea that Thomas had made simple mistakes.
Thomas has been a fixated lunatic who’s committed crimes and gone off the rails, so Liam doesn’t put his own screwups in the same league.
However, that doesn’t mean that Liam’s mistakes were ever easy for Hope to get past.
Just look at how many times Liam has waffled and let Hope down over the years.
Now that marriage trouble is bubbling back up, how long will it be until Liam “messes up” again?
Will Hope’s decision to rehire Thomas lead to Liam betraying her in some way, especially since he feels betrayed by her sudden about-face?
Liam has certainly done his fair share of cheating with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), so there’s always a chance B&B will push these former flames back in bed together.
Of course, many viewers are tired of the same old “Steam” reunion that ends in disaster.
“Sinn” fans are rooting for Steffy to stay loyal to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), so we’ll see if their own marriage stays intact.
If Liam’s going to fall back into his old cheating pattern, it’d be better for him to do it with someone new.
It’d be easy for the show to write in another option for Liam – even if it’s just a temporary one.
B&B did a little arc for Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) and had him pursue Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) briefly.
They could do a similar arc for Liam if some hot lady at work has had her eye on him – or maybe sparks could fly with someone at a bar one night.
Bottom line, Liam has declared himself the “king of messing up,” so he’s probably going to mess up yet again!
It’s just a matter of how, so betraying Hope with a new woman might be a good option for drama’s sake.
