The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s (Steffy Forrester) maternity leave could affect her storyline and the drama swirling around Steffy. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has suddenly become all about protecting Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay), but could Steffy’s temporary exit change the game?
If Steffy leaves town with Kelly and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks) for a while, Liam won’t really have to worry about her safety anymore. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is too fixated on John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to go globetrotting and follow Steffy anywhere.
Since Liam always has a short attention span when it comes to women, how long will it be until Liam drifts back in Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) direction?
Liam was furious and hurt after he caught Hope making out with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in Italy.
It led to Liam quickly pushing for a divorce, which Hope granted since she was tired of sharing his heart with Steffy.
Nevertheless, longtime B&B fans know that Hope and Liam have a habit of finding their way back to each other.
The show has previously played Liam and Hope up like they’re each other’s destiny – much like Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Whether this destiny notion is true or not, there’s no denying that Liam has reunited with Hope many times over the years.
Liam can’t handle being alone, so how’s he going to cope if Steffy heads out of Los Angeles for a while?
That could lead to Liam drifting back in Hope’s direction – perhaps with a whole new outlook. This situation with Steffy and Sheila could leave Liam in protector mode.
If Liam finds out just how close Sheila and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) are, that might give him a reason to fret over Hope and Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza).
Hope’s dad could end up sleeping with the enemy again, so Liam may get that shocking news and insist he’s not OK with that.
Of course, Liam will remain fearful of Thomas as well considering his problematic history and growing connection to Hope.
If Thomas shows any disturbing warning signs, Liam may be there to pick up on them and try to warn Hope of trouble.
Even if things remain tense at first, B&B could be on the verge of putting Liam back in Hope’s orbit.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s maternity leave could force that story shift and eventually lead to Liam waffling back to Hope.
