The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show’s getting a brand-new character who’s sure to bring some intrigue. TV Line is reporting that Lisa Yamada has joined the cast of B&B as Luna, a college student who’s studying fashion design.
Of course, it just wouldn’t be a daytime drama unless Luna brought a soapy secret to town with her, so she’ll indeed have something that’ll become a big reveal later.
Luna will be rather mysterious young woman and will quickly hit it off with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), which isn’t surprising considering her age and all the buzz about the show hiring a new ingenue for him.
Will RJ figure out Luna’s secret or could she perhaps get close enough to confide in him?
Either way, RJ will become fast friends with Luna, which will presumably set the stage for them to enter romantic territory in the not-too-distant future.
Lisa Yamada is perhaps most well-known for playing the role of Parker on Cruel Summer, but she’s also been featured on Never Have I Ever, All of Us Are Dead, Promised Land and plenty of other exciting projects.
As for Yamada’s B&B debut, you can expect her to first air on Wednesday, September 13.
It’ll be nice to see a fresh face and have something interesting to look forward to for RJ’s character, who could desperately use some love in his life!
What kind of secret do you think Luna might be hiding? Could Luna be related to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and stir up some drama for her?
Naturally, we also have to wonder if Luna will truly be RJ’s perfect match.
Time will tell, but it’s possible Luna could start off using RJ considering her fashion design studies and desire to build a career at Forrester Creations.
It would add some layers if Luna was perhaps a bit opportunistic!
Then again, maybe Luna could resist RJ’s efforts to help her if she’d rather climb her way to the top based on her own talents.
Regardless, Lisa Yamada is already filming and will show up as Luna just in time for fall storylines.
