The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, August 14, reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will anxiously await Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) answer now that he’s begged her to come home.
Finn has assured Steffy that he won’t be vulnerable to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) again, so he’s hoping they won’t have to spend another night apart.
Despite Finn’s desperate attempt to convince Steffy, she doesn’t seem ready to move back to the cliff house with the kids yet.
Finn shattered the trust between them, so Steffy can’t truly believe him when he says Sheila won’t be a problem anymore.
B&B spoilers say Finn will keep fighting for Steffy and their future together in Monday’s episode.
In fact, Finn will recruit additional help during the week of August 14-18, but it appears he’ll have to deal with Steffy’s rejection for now.
Steffy may insist she wants to stay at the Forrester mansion now that the kids have settled in there.
Since Steffy has to protect Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks) above all else, she can’t risk coming home too soon.
Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will mull over his latest conversation with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), so that’ll give him the information he needs to decide whether he’s “Team Finn” or “Team Liam.”
At the moment, Ridge is fed up with Finn for letting Sheila invade his life since it put Steffy and the children at risk.
Finn hasn’t done anything to convince Ridge that’s going to change, so it’s hard to believe he’d pick Finn’s side right now.
Instead, Ridge might open up to Eric Forrester (John McCook), Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) or someone else about the benefits of his daughter’s relationship with Liam.
Although Ridge knows Liam brought a lot of pain to Steffy’s life once upon a time, he’ll no doubt view him as the safer choice right now.
Liam assured Ridge that if he got another chance with Steffy, he wouldn’t make the mistake of letting her go again.
Ridge seemed to believe that, so he might admit a Liam and Steffy reunion would be for the best.
That’s especially true since Finn will always be connected to Sheila.
Even if Finn manages to shut off the strange bond he feels with his birth mom, Sheila will forever be a problem as long as she’s free.
Regardless, Ridge will pick the man he feels Steffy belongs with, so that could be Liam now that Finn has screwed up so spectacularly.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will contemplate all the horrible news he’s received lately and perhaps argue that it’s time for Steffy to make some romantic updates for safety’s sake.
