The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, January 1, reveal that there’s much more drama to come, but we have a quick programming note to pass along first. Instead of a new episode on Friday, December 29, you’ll either see a repeat or football coverage depending on what time zone you’re in.
However, the latest TV listings point to B&B resuming the action with a brand-new episode on Monday, January 1.
That’s when viewers should see Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) answer to Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) surprise marriage proposal.
Of course, there’s a chance it’s a fake-out if Hope is perhaps letting all naysayers get inside her head.
Hope might be imagining that Thomas is proposing out of fear that he’s moving way too fast.
It could be a sign that Hope’s more worried about Thomas’ obsessive side returning than she’s letting on.
On the other hand, Thomas is truly head over heels, so popping the question like this seems like something he would do!
It certainly seemed real, so maybe Hope will have to genuinely respond to this offer of marriage.
If Hope can’t even say a direct “I love you” to Thomas yet, it’d be a bad idea to promise to marry him.
Hope may have to let Thomas down gently and pump the brakes on his grand plans.
If Hope’s divorce from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) still isn’t finalized, then that’s another factor she could bring up.
Then again, accepting Thomas’ proposal might get everyone off Hope’s back.
There might be some part of Hope that’s tempted, especially if she gets swept up in all Thomas’ usual talk about loving only one woman.
At the hospital, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will push Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) to elaborate now that he’s brought murder accusations against Thomas.
Xander will spill the whole story about Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) car crash and why he believes Thomas was responsible.
B&B spoilers say Finn will understandably be rattled over Xander’s story.
Xander will warn that Thomas is a deeply disturbed individual, so he may refuse to believe that he’s capable of redemption – no matter how much therapy he’s received.
If Xander gets updates on Thomas and Hope’s romance, he’ll be even more concerned and may push Finn to intervene before someone else gets hurt.
