The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, July 3, indicate that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will need to get a few things straight with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), who just showed up at her house to reveal he’s getting a divorce.
Liam insisted he needed to move on with his life and planted another kiss on Steffy, who looked downright bewildered in the aftermath.
So far, Steffy doesn’t seem into the moves Liam’s making on her at all. Instead, Steffy seems unsettled and uncomfortable, which makes sense considering her own marriage isn’t in shambles like Liam’s.
Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) are solid, so Liam is being selfish by making unwanted advances and putting her relationship in jeopardy like this.
Liam feels like he has nothing to lose, but Steffy could lose everything that matters to her!
There’s no reason why Steffy should want to throw away her devoted and hunky husband for this weak waffler.
Although Steffy will always care about Liam, she’ll also feel the need to lay down the law with him.
Steffy will want to establish some boundaries since Liam can’t just go around kissing somebody else’s wife whenever the mood strikes.
It isn’t fair to Steffy to put her in this position because Liam’s ego got bruised.
Steffy may acknowledge that Liam is hurting and perhaps latching onto her as a source of comfort, but she can’t let him keep crossing the line.
Liam may apologize for being impulsive and presumptuous, but he may have reignited something he can’t take back.
That goes for Steffy too if B&B writers decide her own feelings for Liam should get stirred up again, but we’ll see how it plays out in the weeks ahead.
For now, Steffy will push Liam to respect her marriage to Finn and back off, but it’s possible her lingering Liam love will become a problem down the road.
In the meantime, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will get updates on some stunning news, so she’ll no doubt hear that Liam is divorcing Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Hope can’t hide what happened with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in Rome forever, so she may admit to Brooke that Liam witnessed her make-out session and left her over it.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will reel over Hope and Liam’s split, so stay tuned to see her shocked reaction.
