The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, May 8, tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will try to calm the panic that’s rising up inside her now that she’s been busted. It’s clear that Hope’s secret problem is getting a lot harder to hide!
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) caught a glimpse of Hope’s close moment with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), which involved holding hands and some intense eye contact.
Now Steffy has accused Hope of flirting with Thomas and is concerned about her derailing all the progress he’s made to pull away from his old obsession.
Steffy just demanded the truth about Hope’s feelings, so Hope will feel like she has no choice but to lie.
B&B spoilers say Hope will deny flirting with Thomas and insist the only feelings she has are friendly ones.
Hope will contend that she simply got caught up in the excitement of the preorder numbers and will urge Steffy not to make a big deal out of this.
Although Steffy will remain on edge over what she witnessed, Hope will downplay it as best as she can and hope they can all just move on.
Perhaps Hope will bring up Thomas’ history and suggest she’d be crazy to want to go down that road again.
Hope might try to convince herself along with Steffy that nothing romantic will ever be in the cards when it comes to her relationship with Thomas.
Afterward, Hope will decide to plan another romantic evening for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), but that’ll mostly be a reaction to this whole situation at work.
It’ll leave Hope uneasy about the true Thomas feelings she’s hiding, so she’ll combat her guilt by showering Liam with affection at home.
Of course, Hope can’t run from what she’s feeling, so Thomas will continue to invade her brain at the worst possible times.
As for Steffy, she’ll probably plan to watch Hope and Thomas more closely from now on.
Steffy will see the potential for bad news if Thomas and Hope’s bond continues to veer into inappropriate territory.
