The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, October 23, reveal that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) will feel backed into a corner. Since RJ is keeping quiet about Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) health issues, he’ll continue to face some family complications as a result.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) doesn’t know what Eric is up against, so he thinks Eric’s just being stubborn and basically acts like he’s going to teach his dad a lesson.
After RJ listens to Ridge gloat about his upcoming fashion competition victory, it’ll leave RJ even more torn.
RJ will feel like Ridge needs to know Eric has legitimate reasons for pushing this showdown and trying to win.
Even so, RJ won’t want to blab and break Eric’s trust, especially when his grandad has put so much faith in him lately.
It’s clear that RJ’s grown closer to Eric, so the thought of betraying him will stop his confession for now.
At the Forrester mansion, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) will pop over for a visit, but Eric and Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis) behavior will raise some concerns.
Although Katie won’t know exactly what’s going on, she’ll sense a heavy vibe and fish for information.
B&B spoilers say Donna and Eric will clam up, so Katie will eventually decide to leave since it’ll seem like they want to be alone.
However, Katie will accidentally forget her phone, so that’ll put her in the right place at the right time when it comes to eavesdropping.
After Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) delivers updates on Eric’s crushing diagnosis, Katie will overhear Eric and Donna trying to cope with the awful news.
That’ll lead to Katie pushing for answers about what she listened in on, so Donna and Eric will get honest about the whole nightmare they’ve been going through.
Once Katie realizes Eric wants her to keep this a secret, she’ll agree to respect his wishes – even if she thinks he’d be better off telling Ridge and the rest of his loved ones.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric’s condition is definitely serious, so he could have a pretty bleak view of the situation once he knows what illness he’s facing.
