The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) could find herself in another difficult position at the hospital. When Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was brought in following a heart attack, Li was prepared to let her enemy perish instead of doing the right thing and saving her.
It was John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) who couldn’t go along with that plan, so B&B fans will recall that he came to Sheila’s rescue and did whatever was necessary to keep her alive.
Li could end up watching another problematic patient get wheeled into the hospital next. Will it be Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) who lands in grave danger this time around?
It’d be easy for Poppy to get involved in a car crash or another serious accident. It’s even possible that Poppy will somehow land in Sheila’s path and become her next victim.
Regardless, it makes sense that Poppy might wind up facing a life-threatening ordeal. That could force Li to decide whether to save Poppy – and the results might be very different from the situation with Sheila.
It’s understandable that Li would turn her back on someone who was willing to fire at Finn and leave him to bleed out in an alley.
Sheila was a menace who did that and a whole lot more! Nobody can entirely blame Li for hating Sheila enough to want her deceased.
With Poppy, it’s a totally different scenario. This is Li’s own sister – someone she loved before their relationship fell apart and someone she surely still loves deep down.
Poppy has made mistakes and choices that Li disapproves of, but that doesn’t change the fact that they’re family. No matter how much vitriol Li might have for Poppy right now, it could never compare to the hatred she has in her heart for Sheila.
That’s why Li might be emotionally affected by Poppy getting rushed to the hospital in bad shape. It could flip the switch when it comes to Li’s emotions and leave her determined to make sure Poppy pulls through.
Of course, it’s not very realistic for a doctor to be working to save a relative in an emergency, but that’s what happened with Finn and Sheila! There’s no reason why it couldn’t happen again with Li and Poppy in the coming months.
