The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 5, reveals that Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) gave Brook Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) updates on Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) medical scare, but she said the party would move forward at Eric’s insistence.
In fact, it was happening this afternoon, so Donna stood her ground on respecting Eric’s wishes. Donna also mentioned that she put Eric in the guest house since it meant it didn’t have to deal with all the stairs.
At Forrester Creations on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Katie and Brooke joined Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
There was talk about Ridge telling Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) the truth and how hard it’d be to keep up the act at this party.
However, Ridge knew they had to do this for Eric, who could be running out of time. Once Ridge made a phone call, Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) answered from the airport since he was planning on visiting some friends in Houston before his flight to Los Angeles.
Ridge said there’d been a change of plans and that the party was happening today, so he pushed Thorne to take a sooner flight and come home right away.
Thorne pointed out that Kristen Forrester (Tracy Melchior), Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) and Felicia Forrester (Lesli Kay) were still on safari, so they’d never be able to make it back in time.
Although Thorne was suspicious and asked what the rush was, Ridge told him to just get there.
Steffy wasn’t sure she could pretend at this party, but Ridge insisted they had to do it for Eric and make this the elegant Forrester affair that his dad wanted.
At the Forrester guest house, Eric was in bed with his oxygen mask as Donna entered with a few things from the main house. Donna felt that Eric should rest instead of hosting a party and argued that everyone would know something was wrong.
That said, Donna didn’t have a problem with Eric inviting his family over and perhaps telling them the truth about his condition. Eric insisted he didn’t want this to be a wake; he wanted it to be a celebration!
After Eric reflected on so many wonderful things happening at the Forrester mansion, he said he’d be moving to another beautiful house – a crystal castle in the sky.
That didn’t scare Eric, but he wanted to be able to look back and know he’d experienced things. There was a montage of some of Eric’s memories, including moments with Brooke and his behind-the-scenes work at fashion shows.
Eric also flashed back to moments with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), so he felt she’d have a lot to say when he saw her again. Until then, Eric was happy to have his angel Donna there with him to the very end.
Once Eric reflected on some sweet memories with Donna, he admitted it hurt that he couldn’t make more. Eric and Donna expressed their love as she curled up on his chest while crying.
