The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 25, reveals that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) acknowledged that the situation looked bad, but he also wondered if maybe Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was overreacting a little about John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) embracing Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Wyatt suggested Liam might have a problem with anything Finn does because of his feelings for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
However, Liam argued that he had a problem with Finn hugging a psycho and insisted he was being protective, not overprotective.
Liam admitted that he’d always love Steffy and flashed back to the time he rescued her when she nearly drowned in the bathtub.
Since Liam had saved Steffy’s life once before, he wasn’t going to lose her now because of Sheila.
At the cliff house on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Finn tried to reassure Steffy since they had a restraining order and more security than Fort Knox, but Steffy insisted it wasn’t enough.
Steffy warned that Sheila must be kept far away from their home and their children.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) thought back to finding Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) in Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) bedroom and eventually admitted the truth to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Ridge thought it was just one kiss, but Brooke confessed it was a lot more and told the story of how she found Hope in bed with Thomas.
Although Hope wanted her mom to keep this quiet, Brooke didn’t want to keep secrets from Ridge – especially ones that concerned his son.
Ridge was grateful for the updates, but he feared Thomas would get obsessed again all because of Hope’s marriage ending.
Brooke acted like there might be more to it than that, so Ridge asked if she thought Hope had real feelings for Thomas.
In the design office, Hope saw a calendar alert on her phone and gazed at a picture of herself with Liam. It brought back memories of signing the divorce papers, but Hope also flashed back to making love to Thomas.
When Thomas walked in, he assumed Hope was thinking about what happened between them since he hadn’t been able to get it off his mind either.
Hope smiled at Thomas and admitted she’d indeed been thinking about them, but she’d also been thinking about Sheila now that she was free.
Thomas vowed to keep Hope safe and added that he’d never let anything happen to her, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) or Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza).
Hope realized Thomas really meant that promise and admitted it was nice to hear. After Hope said she never felt truly protected or secure with Liam, she suggested she couldn’t trust the same promise if it came from him.
Hope thought that was because of Liam’s feelings for Steffy and delivered the news about signing the divorce papers.
Thomas still thought Hope could put her family back together if she wanted, but Hope said Liam refused to fight for their marriage.
The fact that Liam asked for a divorce so quickly made Hope wonder why it was so easy for him to walk away.
Thomas didn’t understand how Liam could do that, but Hope thought it was obvious that he was done with their life together and wanted his old life with Steffy back.
Hope had a lot of complicated things going on right now, but she was sure about one thing and launched a hot make-out session with Thomas.
Back at the cliff house, Steffy locked the door and was on edge after Finn left for the hospital. The tea kettle whistled and startled Steffy, who also ran to the sliding door after hearing a noise outside.
“Sheila?! Is that you?! Sheila?!” Steffy called out once she opened that door and looked around suspiciously.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will remain a nervous wreck as long as Sheila is on the loose, so stay tuned for more drama.
