The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 6, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) begged John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) not to let Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pressure him into shutting his mother out of his life.
Sheila added that Finn shouldn’t let Steffy dictate their relationship, especially when his wife walked out on him. Finn reminded Sheila that Steffy walked out because of her and made it clear that nobody was controlling him.
After Finn warned that Sheila couldn’t be there, he pushed her to stay away from his family – including Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks).
Sheila once again urged Finn not to let Steffy poison him against his mom, but Finn stood his ground and wanted her to leave.
Steffy piped up that Finn wasn’t buying Sheila’s lies and refused to believe they were anything alike despite Sheila’s insistence they were both loving mothers.
Finn insisted the past wouldn’t just go away, so he couldn’t forget what happened in the alley and refused to let Sheila continue terrorizing Steffy. Although Sheila tried to bring up the fact that she saved Kelly’s life, Finn and Steffy refused to let her use that to make them feel guilty.
Finn argued that if Sheila truly loved him, then she could prove it by saying goodbye and never coming back. Sheila reluctantly left, so Finn apologized to Steffy and hated that she had to go through that.
Steffy cried as she insisted she could never be in the same room with Sheila again, but Finn felt that he got through to Sheila and that she wouldn’t return. After Steffy said she wished she could believe that, she felt they both knew what Sheila was capable of.
In Sheila’s sick, twisted mind, she thought she loved Finn and wasn’t going to let this go. A weepy Steffy assured Finn that she loved him, but she said she couldn’t do this anymore and left Finn looking upset.
At Il Giardino on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) showed up to grill Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) again since they didn’t believe his story about having no contact with Sheila.
Now that Steffy had decided to move back in the cliff house, Ridge wanted to know whatever Deacon could tell him about Sheila’s plans. Deacon stood by his claims about knowing nothing and having zero contact with Sheila, so Ridge said they’d have a real problem if Deacon was lying.
Deacon assured Ridge that he’d never do anything to jeopardize the safety of his family. Ridge warned that if anything happened to his kids or grandkids, he’d make Deacon pay!
At Spencer Publications, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) was uneasy over Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) news about Steffy moving back in the cliff house. Liam was once again worried about the safety of Steffy and the kids.
Wyatt pointed out that when Steffy was living at the Forrester mansion, Liam had the perfect opening to rekindle things with his ex-wife. However, Liam scolded Wyatt for taking his genuine concern and trying to turn it into some torrid love scandal.
Although Liam still loved Steffy and regretted losing her, he made it clear that protecting Steffy and Kelly was his priority. There was a time when Liam was hoping he might get another chance with Steffy, but he suggested it probably wasn’t in the cards if she was going back to Finn.
