The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will come home to some big news that leaves him floored. B&B fans know Ridge has been off doing some soul-searching since both Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) washed their hands of him.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Ridge stopped caring about either woman.
Part of Ridge will always love Taylor and feel connected to her through the children they share.
However, Brooke is arguably the true love of Ridge’s life. There’s always been a reason for all the destiny talk when it comes to Ridge and Brooke’s long-lasting bond.
When Ridge returns, he may hope he still has a shot at a “Bridge” reunion.
The time Ridge spent soul-searching may only lead him to the conclusion that he can’t live without Brooke – or at least he doesn’t want to.
Nevertheless, Ridge could face another reunion hurdle that he didn’t see coming.
Once Ridge is back in Los Angeles, he’ll no doubt be taken aback at just how close Taylor and Brooke have gotten.
Taylor tried to play matchmaker for Brooke and set her up on a date with Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers), but that plan didn’t work out very well.
Brooke is in a vulnerable place now, so Taylor will inevitably become more protective of her.
That could leave Taylor warning Ridge away following his homecoming since he’s a perpetual heartbreaker.
Taylor might decide that Brooke’s heart simply can’t take anymore and urge Ridge to move on.
Naturally, we can’t rule out the idea that Taylor will want Brooke for herself on some level.
It’d be highly entertaining if Ridge came home and found the two of them in a compromising position.
Whatever the case, Ridge may decide he wants Brooke back, but he’ll be surprised if Taylor presents a reunion obstacle and goes into protective mode.
Taylor may try to shield Brooke from the damage that Ridge tends to do.
