The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers indicate that Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) and his wife are no longer together. In a new statement to SOD, Scott revealed that he separated from Nikki after 10 years of marriage and hinted that they’d actually been separated for quite some time.
However, Scott was quick to point out that he remains on good terms with Nikki.
In fact, Scott called Nikki his “best friend in the world” as well as his “partner in crime.”
After Scott acknowledged that Nikki was still a close confidant, he talked about how this decision affected their relationship.
Scott Clifton insisted that it had deepened their level of love and respect for each other, so it’s good to know things aren’t contentious between them.
That’s especially true since Scott and Nikki share a young son named Ford, who’ll be celebrating his 7th birthday this May.
Ford is clearly their mutual focus, so Nikki and Scott will continue to coparent him with that in mind.
“Our choice was born of a commitment to one another’s happiness and, above all, giving our son Ford the best life we can,” Scott Clifton said as he announced the news of his split.
“We are grateful for everyone’s support and ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate whatever the future may hold.”
As for what’s next on B&B, Liam and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will continue to tackle family challenges of their own.
Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) just moved in the cliff house, so that’ll be an adjustment for everyone living back at the cabin.
Liam will keep doing his best to help Hope through this difficult time, which they’re hoping will be temporary.
Douglas is thrilled about the idea of living with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), so we’ll see how long his bliss there lasts.
