The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may have to make some tough decisions about what’s next for Hope for the Future. B&B fans know there’s been a lot of buzz at the office about Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in Rome.
Katie Logan (Heather Tom) expressed concern about what could happen if the press found out what went down. That could be a hint that the press will indeed find out – and they may leak far more than the news of a measly kiss in front of the Colosseum!
Hope is on the verge of divorcing Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), so her destroyed marriage and family won’t exactly fit the Hope for the Future narrative anymore. The brand is built on strong morals, but Hope’s turning her back on those and following her heart.
The press could easily sell scandalous stories about Hope cheating on Liam and falling in love with her lead designer. Thomas’ problematic past could also come back into play, so reporters could highlight the fact that Hope’s choosing her stalker.
In other words, Hope and Thomas’ relationship could become a PR nightmare! If Thomas and Hope insist on pursuing this path, they may have to make sacrifices and live with the consequences.
Steffy was tempted to press pause on Hope’s line indefinitely back when it was underperforming without Thomas’ designs. Thomas ultimately returned to the line and helped Hope turn things around, so they’ve become a massive success once again.
However, there’s a chance that Hope and Thomas’ romance could make the line crash and burn. Since it’ll go against everything Hope for the Future stands for, it could lead to tons of canceled orders and bad press for Forrester Creations.
If that happens, Steffy may have to make some difficult choices regarding the future of the line. It could lead to Steffy revisiting the idea of pressing pause or even shutting the line down completely.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is Steffy’s co-CEO and would have to approve that decision as well, but he might end up agreeing with Steffy about this being what’s best for their family business.
Will being with Thomas cost Hope her line? Hope and Thomas may have to make some career updates if things head south, so stay tuned to see what’s in store for them.
