The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could find herself in Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) shoes down the road. Ever since Steffy saw Hope seemingly coming on to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), she’s been flipping out over the problems this could bring.
Steffy opened up to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about her concerns since this could lead Thomas astray – not to mention it would crush Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) since he believes Hope’s so devoted to him.
If Hope crosses the line with Thomas, it could be a deal-breaker for Liam and end their marriage.
We certainly don’t blame Steffy for being worried under the circumstances, but the show could still spin things around on her.
Since Steffy has been a bit judgmental about Hope’s feelings for Thomas, what if she ultimately finds herself in a similar situation?
Could Steffy face some unwanted feelings that pose a huge threat to her marriage?
After all, Liam will need someone to lean on once Hope inevitably goes too far with Thomas.
Steffy makes sense as someone who’ll step up and support Liam through this difficult time.
We know Finn has been working a lot more, which doesn’t leave as much alone time with Steffy.
The show could use that to create some “Sinn” distance and give Steffy a chance to reconnect with Liam.
Of course, Steffy wouldn’t want to lust after Liam any more than Hope wants to lust after Thomas!
Sometimes attraction can just be a tricky thing – especially when B&B manufactures it out of nowhere just for drama’s sake.
Liam will be devastated and vulnerable if his marriage falls apart, so that could leave him craving Steffy’s familiar comfort.
Steffy could end up dealing with some Liam fantasies and heart palpitations of her own somewhere down the line.
Back when B&B did their Steffy-centric special for the 9,000th episode, they spent a great deal of time highlighting her former relationship with Liam.
There were some “Steam” flashbacks as Steffy and Liam talked about how their love for each other was never going away.
Liam and Steffy have a spark that’s always going to be buried under the surface – just waiting to be rekindled if the show needs a reason to create some issues for these exes.
In other words, Steffy may eventually realize what it’s been like for Hope.
If Steffy battles unwanted feelings for Liam despite her deep love for Finn, it could help her understand Hope’s perspective a little more.
