The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has gone to extremes for the sake of his plot against Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Bill had to make it seem believable, so that meant doing some pretty awful things – like blackmailing Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Since Bill had been sitting on the secret of who shot him, that became the blackmail material that seemingly got Sheila off the hook.
Bill has been holding the Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) shooter shocker over Finn and Steffy’s heads, so they’ve understandably been furious with him.
Taylor has also suffered since she feels to blame for Sheila getting away with her crimes.
The fact that Steffy and Finn were robbed of justice is something that’s brought a great deal of pain for Taylor.
That’s on top of the guilt Taylor already feels for even shooting Bill in the first place.
B&B fans have definitely seen a tough internal battle for Taylor thanks to Bill’s actions.
Of course, Taylor doesn’t realize Bill, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and the FBI are all on a mission to put Sheila in prison for good.
The FBI has apparently been monitoring all Sheila’s conversations, so we can assume they know about Bill’s shooter leverage.
Ridge’s involvement says a lot about how this story will turn out.
There’s no way Ridge would let Bill blackmail Steffy using Taylor’s attempted murder without a guarantee about Taylor’s future.
Even if Ridge came on board later, he obviously knows what Bill’s doing and all the lengths he’s gone to.
Ridge and Bill are partners, so they have to be on the same page.
With all that in mind, Taylor should end up on an emotional rollercoaster soon.
It’ll be shocking and even infuriating when Taylor first hears the blackmail scheme was part of Sheila’s big setup.
However, good news could follow if Taylor learns Bill and Ridge only agreed to do this if she got immunity for shooting Bill.
Perhaps Ridge and Bill’s plan will be the reason Taylor never has to worry about being prosecuted for what she did that night.
