The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has turned his life around and has no intention of blowing it. Now that Thomas has Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) by his side, he doesn’t want to do anything that might jeopardize their relationship.
Thomas has been on his best behavior – and that trend should continue as long as he’s on solid ground with Hope.
Of course, things could change if Hope and Thomas’ relationship falls apart.
No one can predict how Thomas might react if he loses the only woman he adores, but things seem to be going well for Thomas and Hope at the moment.
There’s no sign of trouble on the horizon in Hope and Thomas’ romance, which hopefully means there’s no sign of trouble brewing for Thomas on a personal level either.
The Forrester family could use a new troublemaker if Thomas is going to stay reformed. It seems like B&B writers are trying to slide Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) into that spot now.
Naturally, we should point out that Zende has made some valid points about RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) lack of experience and training.
It’s easy to see why Zende feels like he’s being pushed aside when he’s the more talented, knowledgeable designer.
At the same time, Eric Forrester (John McCook) would’ve asked Zende to work with him on this last collection if that’s what he wanted. It’s not like Zende and Eric haven’t worked on other lines together before.
Eric asked RJ this time around, so it’s only logical that RJ would be the one to keep working on that collection and try to finish it now. It’s really not the outrageous thing Zende’s making it out to be.
However, Zende’s beef with the Forresters is about more than just Eric’s final collection. For Zende, this is about not feeling like a real member of the family.
Just look at how many characters – even people who weren’t related to Eric – found out the truth about his condition before Zende did.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had the nerve to tell Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) because he was “family” before he ever told Zende. It’s no wonder Zende has a chip on his shoulder that’s getting bigger every day.
Now that the show’s establishing that Zende feels like an outsider, they’re also building Zende up as RJ’s rival in more ways than one.
Zende is in competition with RJ on a professional level, but there’s a personal angle through his attraction to Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and his desire to pursue her.
Will Zende go as far as sabotaging RJ’s relationship with Luna to steal RJ’s girlfriend for himself? It wouldn’t be surprising under the circumstances!
Zende might find ways to derail things for RJ on the job as well. Although Zende would never sabotage Eric’s final collection, he could still try to ruin RJ’s future as an up-and-coming designer.
