Thomas and Hope’s time in Italy was definitely a turning point since Rome is where Hope surrendered to the desires she’d been bottling up.
That make-out session in front of the Colosseum altered the course of Hope and Thomas’ lives in a big way.
Now Hope is with a man who cherishes her and loves her above all others – unlike Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), who went chasing after Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) again the first chance he got.
Other characters like Steffy, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) have voiced concerns about Hope’s romance with Thomas, but the duo can choose to keep ignoring all the complaints if they want to.
Even if no one’s willing to support their nuptials, Thomas and Hope could always elope. What better place to do that than the city that started it all?
Hope and Thomas could return to Rome for either a full-blown destination wedding or a far more intimate gathering with just them and an officiant.
Of course, B&B could simply recreate Italy using some clever sets and the exterior footage they filmed during their previous time there.
It’d be easy to make it seem like Thomas and Hope were back in Rome to wed.
