The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) could be in the prime position to notice that something’s starting to feel off about Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) behavior.
It’s true that Liam has always been pretty relentless when it comes to the woman he’s pursuing – at least until he inevitably waffles in another romantic direction.
However, Liam’s current pursuit of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) feels a little different.
The show is no longer playing Liam like some sort of underdog hero who’s going to get the girl if his persistence pays off.
B&B fans can tell that Liam is definitely heading into far creepier territory – and it’s reminiscent of Thomas’ behavior back when he was obsessed with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
When grinning Liam talked to Steffy’s framed photo and winked mischievously, it felt like the first step toward Liam truly going off the rails.
Steffy doesn’t seem concerned over Liam blatantly ignoring her insistence that she’ll never leave John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and that she’s committed to her marriage.
Liam is becoming a walking red flag, so maybe Thomas will eventually pick up on some unsettling, familiar vibes.
After all, Thomas used to be obsessed with Hope and displayed some of the same warning signs.
Since Thomas understands the mind of a stalker and knows what fixation looks like, he might end up being the one to sound the alarm.
Thomas might try to warn Steffy and Finn about the potential for Liam to cause serious trouble.
That could stir up some conflict if Steffy downplays Thomas’ concerns while Finn hears them loud and clear.
Hope could also get updates on Thomas’ worries sooner or later, so it’d be interesting to see Thomas try to navigate a tricky situation like this.
Thomas might acknowledge that he used to be like the version of Liam who’s bubbled up to the surface, so he knows the guy’s bad news at this point.
Even Scott Clifton confirmed on his X account that he’s not playing Liam as charming!
Clifton is going for a different side of Liam instead – one that could become quite sinister unless someone like Thomas can see the possibility of danger and stop him.
