The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that a major Forrester family crisis is about to kick off. Eric Forrester (John McCook) will finally get his heartbreaking diagnosis, which may leave him with a clock that’s ticking way too fast.
There may not be much that can be done for Eric when it comes to treating his condition. Eric may feel like this fashion competition and debut of his grand finale collection is truly his swan song.
Unfortunately, Eric is already stressed and exhausted over all the preparations. Things are only going to get more hectic as the fashion showdown gets closer and eventually kicks off.
This could lead to a situation where Eric collapses and has to be taken to the hospital ASAP. That could be what forces Eric’s secret out in the open and leaves Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) terrified for his granddad.
Up to now, Thomas has been the one supporting Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and comforting her when things get rough.
Hope appreciates being able to lean on Thomas – whether that’s through their passionate distractions or Thomas’ loving pep talks.
However, Thomas may end up needing some comfort as well once Eric’s illness leaves the Forresters so fearful. It’s easy to imagine Thomas breaking down in tears and opening up to Hope about how scared he is to lose his grandfather.
If Thomas sobs to Hope and confides his struggles, it could open her eyes to a whole new side of him.
Hope might find herself even more attracted to Thomas for his willingness to be vulnerable and trust her with his deepest emotions.
This could also lead to a turning point in Hope and Thomas’ relationship if that’s what B&B writers have in mind.
Hope might be willing to move beyond their casual arrangement and turn this into a real romance – one where she truly starts falling in love with Thomas.
Regardless, Eric’s health drama will hit hard for all the Forresters. After Thomas gets updates on Eric’s horrible news, Hope may be the first person he turns to for support.
