The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, January 12, reveals that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will deliver some big news, so Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) are in for a shock.
It sounds like Carter will get updates on Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) release, so he’ll have to inform Brooke and Katie that she’s officially out of jail. Of course, that’ll bring questions on Thursday’s B&B episode about how something like this could’ve happened.
The case seemed like a slam dunk, but that was back when Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) were willing to testify.
Since Finn and Steffy clammed up as well as refused to press charges, Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) bribed judge was able to let her go.
Judge Craig McMullen (Joe Lando) argued that he couldn’t keep Sheila behind bars since there were no other witnesses in the alley – plus, there was evidence that Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) forced her to escape later.
At some point, word of Bill’s alliance with Sheila will spread, so he’d better be prepared for backlash from Katie, Brooke and many other livid characters.
Right now, it’s Steffy who just confessed the truth to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), who was floored to learn Bill blackmailed her daughter over the old shooting. Once Steffy and Finn explain the whole ugly situation, Taylor will undoubtedly want to sacrifice herself and get Bill off their back.
There’s a good chance Taylor will vow to turn herself in so that Bill will no longer have leverage, but Steffy will surely shut down that notion. Since Steffy won’t want her mom locked up, she’ll plead with Taylor to accept her decision.
Although Steffy hates the idea of Sheila having her freedom again, it’s better than Taylor losing her own! Even so, Taylor will seethe over Bill using her mistake against Steffy and will wonder how in the world he could’ve fallen for someone like Sheila Carter.
This will be a deeply disturbing revelation that leaves Taylor concerned about Sheila’s next scheme. Now that Sheila is free, she’s capable of anything – especially with powerful Bill by her side!
