The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 5, reveals that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) insisted she would spend the rest of her life loving John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Hayes Finnegan (Vienna and Iliana Norris) while Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) spent the rest of her life behind bars.
After Li acknowledged Sheila’s delusional smile, she still assumed Sheila must be scared.
Li wondered if Sheila thought this was a game, so Sheila said no – though she thought she was going to win if it was.
Once Li warned that Sheila wasn’t getting out of there, she added that Sheila’s days of terrorizing her family were over.
Sheila said she could escape if she really wanted to, but running away was only a temporary solution.
Li felt that people like Sheila got what they had coming to them, so Sheila agreed that she would get exactly what she deserved.
Sheila suggested that Li was confusing justice for retribution, but Li vowed that Sheila would have her day in court.
Li assured Sheila that Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would testify against her, so Sheila would finally pay for her crimes.
After Li was disgusted that Finn and Hayes had even a trace of Sheila’s blood in their veins, she argued that Hayes would never know Sheila existed.
Li insisted Sheila would be erased from all their lives forever and there wasn’t a “damn thing” Sheila could do about it.
Sheila thanked Li for visiting and urged her to tell Finn as well as Steffy that they would ALL be together again soon.
At the cliff house on Thursday’s B&B episode, Steffy gave Finn updates and admitted she didn’t get through to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Bill wanted Sheila out of jail as soon as possible, so Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) would end up in prison too if they testified against Sheila and she stayed locked up.
Steffy thought Bill had lost his mind and worried that now they might all be paying the price.
After Steffy wondered about Bill’s motives, she said he denied that Sheila was blackmailing him.
If Bill had real feelings for Sheila, then Steffy warned Finn that they were in trouble.
Finn thought this was the most bizarre thing he’d ever heard, but Steffy said it was worse than that – it was insane!
At Bill’s place, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) showed up with all kinds of questions about the Sheila arrest news, so Bill seemed surprised that she cared.
Katie said of course she did and added that the thought of Sheila harming Bill was unthinkable.
Although they had been a little out of sorts lately, Katie assured Bill that they were family and would always be connected.
After Katie said they never had to worry about Sheila again, she indicated it was all thanks to Bill and called him a hero.
Katie noticed how quiet Bill was and asked if it was because he was still shaken up.
Once Katie urged Bill to take off his sword necklace, she insisted he didn’t need it anymore and felt Bill proved the kind of guy he was by taking Sheila down..
Although Bill wore that sword necklace for protection, Katie pointed out that he didn’t have to do that any longer.
According to Katie, their greatest threat was behind bars – and Bill put her there.
Afterward, Bill met with Sheila privately in the visiting area thanks to the guard he bribed.
Sheila wondered if Bill was still going to come through for her and get her out like he promised.
Bill told Sheila that he was working on her release and couldn’t stop thinking about her.
Sheila urged Bill to hurry so they could be together again, so he asked if she was sure that’s what she wanted.
Bill wasn’t talking about Sheila getting out of jail; he was talking about the feelings that had arisen so quickly between them.
“Are they real?” Bill asked. “I’ve got to know, Sheila. Are they real?”
