The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, February 14 Recap – Katie’s Underwear Mishap – Hope Cries In Liam's Arms

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 14, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) insisted Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wasn’t supposed to be a guardian option, but Steffy once again asked if Hope really wanted her to reject Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

Although Hope appealed to Steffy mother to mother, Steffy’s main focus was the well-being of her nephew.

When Judge Gomez (Jill Reyes) brought Douglas back in, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) reappeared, too.

Judge Gomez noted that she had a full docket today, so this concluded their meeting.

Douglas had made his statement and had the final say, so Judge Gomez trusted they would all figure out how to make this work.

If not, Judge Gomez would have to see them all again. Douglas asked Aunt Steffy if it was OK – if he could come live with Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Steffy eventually told Douglas that she was so honored, but there was a lot to sort out since this was a complicated situation.

They all wanted what was best for Douglas, but Steffy wasn’t exactly sure what that looked like right now.

After Steffy assured Douglas that he was always welcome at her house, she suggested maybe he should go home with Hope and Liam tonight.

Steffy insisted they could discuss this later and pulled Douglas into a hug as she told him she loved him.

At the cabin, Liam and Hope spoke with Thomas alone while Douglas was with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

That gave Liam a chance to blast Thomas for his “record-setting bad idea” of letting Douglas choose his own home.

Thomas argued that he couldn’t have predicted the Steffy custodian news, but Hope wondered what Douglas’ choice said about them as parents.

Liam didn’t blame Douglas since he’d been put in an impossible situation and probably viewed Steffy as a mostly neutral party.

Thomas argued that Steffy wasn’t exactly neutral and decided maybe this wasn’t the worst thing for him since she wouldn’t stop him from seeing his son.

Liam lashed out over the implication that Hope had kept Thomas from Douglas and thought Thomas was to blame for any distance between them.

Hope shut down the fight and pointed out that Douglas had rejected all of them.

Although Hope loved Douglas as if she’d carried him herself, she assumed she must’ve done something wrong and failed him as a mother.

Hope wanted to figure out why Douglas chose to go live with Steffy, so she cried over the drama in Liam’s arms.

At the cliff house on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Finn told Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) how fun it was having all the kids at the house.

Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) had gotten pretty close with Douglas, who was a special kid.

Once Finn reflected on how much Douglas had been through, he talked about how much gratitude he had for his perfect life with his family.

Finn wouldn’t change a thing and had everything he could ever want.

After Steffy returned home, Finn sensed her strange mood and worried Douglas had chosen Thomas.

Steffy admitted Douglas didn’t choose Thomas, but he didn’t choose Hope either.

That left Finn confused, so Steffy explained how everyone was stunned by the name Douglas wrote down.

Finn asked who Douglas wanted to be his legal guardian, so Steffy confessed it was her – that Douglas wanted to live with them.

“Douglas wants to be part of our family, Finn,” Steffy said as she delivered updates to her shocked husband.

At Forrester Creations, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) was in her underwear since she’d forgotten her clothes in the office and needed to change after a workout.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) startled Katie when he entered, so he offered to come back later.

However, Katie wasn’t shy and thought turnabout was fair play since she’d walked in on Carter nearly naked so many times.

Carter complimented Katie’s beauty and kissed her before talk turned to the custody case.

Katie hoped Douglas chose Hope for his own sake, so Carter appreciated the way she defended her family.

Since Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) had lost his mind and was stuck in such a deep depression, Katie insisted she had to keep fighting for him, too.

Carter told Katie that she wasn’t alone and vowed to have her back, so Katie admitted it felt good to have him by her side.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Katie will do whatever it takes to get Bill out of Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) grasp, but that could lead to some disturbing twists in the coming weeks.
