The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 10, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) brought takeout into the CEO office since she was treating Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) to lunch.
As Taylor and Brooke ate on Tuesday’s B&B episode, they agreed about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) going down and marveled over their new friendship.
There was talk about Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) latest soul-searching trip as well as Taylor’s reassurance that he’d left her at the altar for the last time.
Brooke and Taylor felt this was a time for everyone to reevaluate and redefine themselves. Looking back on certain phases of her life, Brooke wondered why she’d been so needy.
Taylor asked what was next for Brooke when it came to dating and hinted that she was always good together with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont),
However, Brooke insisted she wasn’t in Bill’s life romantically – and neither was Katie Logan (Heather Tom). If Bill did have a woman, Brooke certainly didn’t know who it was.
Once Taylor agreed to serve as a fit model, she tried on a Forrester original and then Brooke put on one as well.
Brooke and Taylor showered each other with compliments before planning a girls’ night where they binge-watched shows with popcorn soon.
As for what was happening at the courthouse, Taylor suggested it must be a one-sided celebration by now.
Since Taylor expected Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to triumph, she planned to stop by later and congratulate them on the good news.
With Steffy and Finn’s testimony, Taylor was sure this case was a slam dunk and squealed with glee along with Brooke.
In Judge Craig McMullen’s (Joe Lando) chambers, Finn stood up and remembered the terms of Bill’s deal.
Once Finn insisted he had nothing to say, Bill said “atta boy” as he watched the live camera feed elsewhere.
Judge McMullen wanted clarification that Finn was no longer willing to testify and that he wasn’t seeking to press charges, so Finn confirmed that he changed his mind.
Against her attorney’s (Rodney Van Johnson) advice, Sheila said a few words about how she never meant to hurt Finn and Steffy.
After Sheila talked about being proud of Finn and how she saw the joy Steffy brought to his life, she noted that she was Steffy’s mother-in-law and would always be family.
Sheila mentioned how loyal Steffy was to her own mom and felt that Taylor was a great role model.
Since Taylor was the first person to give Sheila a chance when she came to Los Angeles, Sheila would never forget that.
Once Sheila said she wanted what was best for Steffy and Finn, she thanked the judge for letting her speak up.
Judge McMullen gave Steffy the opportunity to offer her testimony, so Steffy ranted about the pain Sheila had caused and made it clear that Sheila would never be part of her future.
Nevertheless, Steffy declined to say anything else and told Judge McMullen that she’d no longer be pressing charges.
Judge McMullen was taken aback over Steffy and Finn’s updates, but he accepted their decision.
Steffy insisted there was still more than enough proof to put Sheila behind bars for many years, but Judge McMullen said new evidence had come to his attention.
It turns out there was a sworn affidavit from Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes), who claimed he coerced Sheila and took her from her cell against her will.
Finn wondered how someone could get kidnapped from prison, but Judge McMullen said there was indisputable video evidence that corroborated the story.
Without charges for the escape or anything else, Judge McMullen had no choice but to release Sheila and dismiss the case.
After Judge McMullen said Sheila was free to go and ordered that her handcuffs be removed, Steffy and Finn protested since she was dangerous.
Sheila looked smug as she turned back toward a distraught Steffy, who let Finn pull her close.
