Thomas just shocked Hope by whipping out a dazzling engagement ring and proposing to her out of the blue.
It’s way too soon for Thomas to be asking for Hope’s hand in marriage, but this is really happening.
Some viewers thought maybe this was a fantasy, but the latest spoilers confirm Thomas genuinely popped the question – and that means Hope will have to give a real response.
Of course, it’ll take Hope a minute to wrap her head around this marriage proposal.
Thomas dropped to one knee as a romantic gesture, but Hope may urge him to get up and sit with her so they can truly talk about this.
Hope might remind Thomas that they said they’d live in the moment and see where things went. Making a huge commitment like this may go against that agreement from Hope’s perspective.
Thomas, on the other hand, may insist that he’s following his heart – just like Hope’s been claiming that she’s doing.
You can bet Thomas will lay it on thick when it comes to his devotion to Hope and his desire to be the husband she needs.
Thomas may play up how he’ll be a better hubby than Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) if Hope will just say yes.
However, the show hasn’t fully cleared up Hope’s current marital status, so she may not even be able to marry Thomas yet.
Regardless, doubt is written all over Hope’s face, so she’ll pump the brakes and debate with Thomas on Tuesday’s episode.
This is building to Hope’s surprising official answer by midweek, so will she shock Thomas by turning him down or even breaking up with him?
Could Hope change her mind and agree to the marriage instead?
Thomas will end up taken aback either way, so it’ll be interesting to see how it all goes down.
In the meantime, Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) will give John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) the full story of what happened to Emma Barber (Nia Sioux), so Finn will reel over Thomas being to blame for the young intern’s demise.
Xander will offer news on the car’s GPS info and insist that Thomas intentionally ran Emma off the road that terrible night.
The situation isn’t quite that simple since distracted Emma was also texting behind the wheel, but Thomas indeed played a role in her crash outcome.
