The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, August 24, reveals that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) push to preserve the past will go against Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) forward-thinking view of the company.
Although Eric wants to make sure his legacy is honored, Ridge is more worried about staying current and creative. Eric’s vision will be misunderstood, so he’ll be out of sync with Ridge on Thursday’s B&B episode.
Ridge may take a firmer stance against Eric’s legacy line since he’d prefer to focus on new fashion debuts – ones that propel Forrester Creations into the future.
Of course, this is the company that Eric built, so he’ll be offended and will lash out at Ridge as a result.
This could be the start of bigger issues between this father and son, so stay tuned for all the hostility and some hints about Eric’s true motives.
In the meantime, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will fear that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) won’t be able to forgive her betrayal.
B&B fans know Hope took the first step toward reconciliation by cutting romantic ties with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). However, Liam has to meet Hope halfway if this is going to work.
Can Liam put his pain and anger aside for the sake of his family? More importantly, can Liam put aside his deep feelings for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)?
There’ll definitely be some reunion roadblocks for Liam, but he’ll at least share some emotional scenes with Hope as they try to figure out what’s next. Hope and Liam will get a bit touchy-feely, so that could point to some progress between them.
Since Steffy hasn’t been taking John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) calls or texting him back, it looks like he’ll take action and show up at the Forrester mansion again.
Finn will once again express his love for Steffy and share just how much he misses her. The cliff house is a lonely place without Steffy, Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks) and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay).
That’s why Finn will keep begging Steffy to let him fix what he broke. Finn understands that he went too far by embracing Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and making Steffy feel like their family was at risk.
Unfortunately, Finn can’t repair the damage if Steffy remains unwilling to give him a chance. Once Steffy hears Finn’s latest powerful speech and gets updates on how he’s feeling, it’ll no doubt tug at her heartstrings.
Even so, Steffy will still be freaked out over Sheila and the possibility that she could do something unhinged.
It’s clear that Steffy doesn’t mess around when it comes to the safety of her children, so she’s understandably worried about Sheila’s freedom news and the continued threat they’re all facing.
