The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, August 2, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will struggle to believe her ears now that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has called Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) a hero.
Steffy is outraged on so many levels since Finn turned his back to Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay), almost let her drown and allowed Sheila to get so close.
Of course, Finn thinks it’s a good thing Sheila was there since she came to Kelly’s rescue, so Steffy will remain seriously unsettled by Finn’s praise for her.
Although Steffy tried to tell Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that Finn understood the risks, she’ll feel like her world’s being ripped out from under her now.
Steffy will have to face a horrible new reality when it comes to Finn – one where they aren’t on the same page about how dangerous Sheila is.
Finn will eventually assure Steffy that after he thanked Sheila, he told her that she had to keep her distance.
However, Steffy will no doubt remind Finn that Sheila has never respected boundaries before and certainly won’t start now.
Considering what just happened on the beach, Steffy will feel like Sheila’s only going to further insert herself into Finn’s life and try to get close to the kids.
Since Finn embraced Sheila and then expressed his gratitude over her life-saving actions, Steffy will think this can only end in disaster.
Finn has given Sheila way too much hope, so Steffy will start gearing up for a decision that’s going to devastate her husband later this week.
A separation seems to be brewing, so B&B fans will want to stay tuned for more marriage drama.
In the meantime, Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) positive attitude will suddenly become a more negative one.
Although Deacon was impressed over Sheila jumping into action and saving Kelly, he’ll be alarmed when she shares a shocking prediction.
Sheila will describe the future she’s counting on, but Deacon may find that vision rather delusional.
Deacon sees hope for Finn to let Sheila in his life, but he probably won’t think Steffy is ever going to budge.
Sheila may imagine being part of holiday celebrations or even serving as a nanny to the children, but Deacon will pump the brakes and try to remind Sheila that the Forresters still hate her – including Steffy.
Nevertheless, Sheila might feel confident that Finn will put her first, even if it costs him his disapproving wife.
Perhaps Sheila will start to think Finn deserves a different match who’ll let his bio mom become part of the picture.
