The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 1, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) took a phone call from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in her office. Taylor knew Ridge was worried, but she said they had the situation under control and warned that he’d just make things worse if he came home to scream at Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
When Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) showed up, Taylor cut her call with Ridge short. Sheila said she wanted to talk to Taylor now that she knew they weren’t really so different.
Although Sheila pushed for peace, Taylor made it clear that the only way that’d happen is if Sheila was behind bars.
After Taylor ranted about Sheila shooting her years ago and then shooting Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) along with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Sheila pointed out that Taylor shot Bill, too.
Taylor argued the circumstances were different, but Sheila just wanted her to know there was nothing to fear and no need for extra security.
Sheila insisted she wasn’t going to hurt anyone and reminded Taylor that she saved her life.
Taylor flashed back to Sheila pulling her up from the ledge of the hospital roof and looked anxious.
Sheila noted that people would listen to Taylor and urged her to help them understand.
Once Sheila declared that she wasn’t going anywhere, she assumed shooting Bill was something that haunted Taylor.
Sheila thought Taylor should forgive herself so that she could forgive others, but Taylor said she’d never forgive Sheila.
After Sheila chuckled, she walked out the door – leaving an overwhelmed Taylor to cry alone.
At Forrester Creations on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) reassured Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about all the security updates before Katie Logan (Heather Tom) showed up with news of her own.
Katie privately told Carter that she found out what Bill had on Steffy and Finn. Although Katie trusted Carter, she decided it was probably best if he didn’t know.
Katie also told Carter about visiting Bill, who implied that he’d end things with Sheila if Katie took him back.
Carter wondered if Katie was sure she couldn’t go back to Bill considering their history, but Katie didn’t even recognize Bill anymore.
Besides, Katie didn’t know how she could be with a guy like Bill after being with someone as wonderful as Carter.
Once Carter assured Katie that she wouldn’t drive him away, she wished him luck at his next meeting and sent him off.
At Il Giardino, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) complimented Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) on the ravioli and heard about his new chef.
Knowing that Brooke and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) were proud of him was something Deacon had dreamed about for a very long time.
Brooke agreed to taste-test another pizza, so Deacon thought this was nice – just two pals having a slice.
Deacon urged Brooke to tell him how great life was without Ridge and learned she’d found a dear friend in Taylor.
When Deacon suggested maybe he’d be friends with Ridge next, Brooke didn’t think hell could freeze over twice!
After Brooke asked if there was a woman in Deacon’s life, he flashed back to dancing with Sheila.
Brooke could tell by the look on Deacon’s face that there was somebody special, but Deacon didn’t offer any details.
Later, Brooke brought a pizza to Taylor’s office and learned Sheila had been there.
Taylor worried that since she attempted Bill’s murder and kept it a secret, she was no different than Sheila.
As Taylor cried about Sheila being right, Brooke insisted Sheila was just getting in her head and making her doubt.
Once Brooke assured Taylor that she was nothing like Sheila, she pointed out that Sheila was just weaponizing Taylor’s guilt.
Taylor felt like she was breaking down and didn’t know what to do, so Brooke sat beside her and said they’d beat Sheila.
After Brooke pulled Taylor into a comforting embrace, she insisted she was there for her.
Back at Forrester Creations, Sheila showed up in the CEO office and slammed the door. That surprised Katie, who asked how Sheila got in there.
Sheila reminded Katie that she was a free woman and added that she was also the woman in Bill’s life.
“You need to accept our relationship or else,” Sheila warned an unsettled Katie.
