The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, February 15, teases that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will have a hard time wrapping his head around Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) custody news.
Steffy wasn’t even supposed to be a legal guardian option, but Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) put her name down anyway.
Now Steffy’s in a tight spot since she doesn’t want to turn Douglas away, especially when their home could be a safe space for him right now.
Finn may have some mixed feelings initially since he was just telling Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) how perfect his family was and that he wouldn’t change a thing.
At the same time, Finn knows that Douglas fits right in with their brood when he comes over.
Of course, Finn also realizes Douglas has been through major turmoil in his young life – and a lot of that’s been thanks to Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) manipulation.
If the cliff house can be somewhere that offers stability for Douglas, Finn should be all for it in the end.
Although it’ll be a challenge raising another child, Steffy and Finn may resolve to make it happen.
Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) has been asking to hang out with Douglas more anyway, so she’ll be ecstatic once she realizes he’ll be living with them around the clock.
Naturally, Steffy will have to get Thomas and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) to agree to all this first.
It sounds like Steffy will once again emphasize the idea that the cliff house could be a temporary fix rather than something that lasts forever.
Maybe Steffy could even suggest reevaluating the situation within a certain period of time – like six months or a year.
At that point, they could make some updates to Douglas’ living arrangement if he’s not happy.
With Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) support, Hope will eventually strike a deal with Thomas as they try to put Douglas’ needs above their own.
That means Hope will have to cope with Douglas’ absence at the cabin, so bracing for this farewell won’t be easy.
As for Thomas, Steffy may point out that she’s going to run a tight ship.
Although Steffy won’t prevent Thomas from visiting Douglas, she’ll inevitably plan to keep a close eye on things and stop any further manipulation before it starts.
Thomas hasn’t proven he can be trusted yet, so Steffy may remind him of that.
Douglas’ decision to live with Steffy won’t give Thomas a free pass to stir up more trouble.
Thomas will pay Eric Forrester (John McCook) a visit for advice and a favor within the next B&B episode or two.
It sounds like Thomas will hope to move back in the Forrester mansion, so he might be able to nail down some solid living arrangements of his own soon.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will need to truly learn from his mistakes and prove he can become a better man for Douglas’ sake.
