The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week for December 18-22 reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) seems poised to have a change of heart, but he’ll worry it may be too late for Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Ridge has medical power of attorney and is trying to respect what Eric wanted, but it doesn’t seem like he’s considering all the facts.
Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) convinced Eric there was no hope at all, so Eric avoided hospitals and pointless tests since he didn’t think he could change his fate.
Now John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is offering an experimental treatment – a treatment that Eric probably would’ve consented to if he’d known about it before now.
Not too long ago, Eric was tearfully telling Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) that he hated not being able to stick around and make more memories with her! Finn’s idea could indeed help with that plan.
Since Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) is about to get more involved in this storyline, maybe she can offer another doctor’s perspective and convince Ridge that the potential payoff is worth the risks.
It looks like Ridge will finally surrender and give Eric’s medical team the green light to try this last-resort strategy to save him.
Regardless, Finn and Bridget will consult with a physician named Dr. Martin (Cirie Fields from season 25 of Big Brother) on this tricky case.
Perhaps Dr. Martin will help guide Bridget and Finn through the process of Eric’s experimental treatment.
At Forrester Creations, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) will interact with an FC employee named James (Matt Klotz, Big Brother season 25 runner-up).
James might seek updates on what’s happening with Eric if the news is spreading around the company by then.
Maybe James will extend his support to the Forrester family and hope that Eric pulls through.
Of course, there’ll be a bit of a waiting game since it’ll take some time for Eric’s blood cleanse and transplant, but his loved ones will have hope for his future.
B&B fans know Donna has been praying for a miracle, so it appears she’ll get one right as Christmas approaches.
Ridge may find himself wishing he’d caved in sooner if this treatment is exactly what Eric needs to stay alive for many years to come.
