The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week of December 25-29 reveal that Christmas will bring some surprises on the CBS soap. Eric Forrester (John McCook) has been stuck on life support at the hospital, but a big change is coming in his condition.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and even Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) have been starting to wonder if they should’ve just let Eric cross over into the great beyond.
Although there was a time when it seemed like Eric might face a grim fate, there’s no way B&B’s taking that route now.
If Eric were going to pass away, he would’ve done it when he first said he was ready and collapsed after the party.
The fact that the show’s dragging things out like this is a good sign about Eric opening his eyes and breathing on his own at some point.
There’ll be some scary moments, but the timing certainly fits for Eric to give the Forrester family the ultimate Christmas gift by coming back to them.
We also know that there’ll be some scenes at the Forrester mansion with all the Christmas décor.
Even if the Forresters and Logans have to delay the festivities, there’ll be some heartwarming holiday moments sooner or later.
Once everybody knows Eric’s going to be OK, it should lift spirits and make Eric’s loved ones more inclined to have a celebration.
Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will plan to spend some time relaxing together after this difficult hospital ordeal.
The kids still deserve a fun Christmas, so Finn and Steffy will surely do something special for them – whether it plays out on-screen or off.
Of course, Eric will still have to fight his way back to a full recovery.
It can’t happen overnight, but at least Finn’s experimental treatment kept Eric alive and will get him on the path to normalcy.
Once Eric is awake and alert, will he eventually weigh in on Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) and RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) feud over his final collection?
Perhaps Eric will make this a full family affair and insist he wants Ridge, RJ, Zende and even Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to pitch in.
