The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) have only referenced their initial meeting on the beach. So, why was that scene not shown to the audience as it happened?
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) were talking in the cabin after they informed Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) about Bill’s inexplicable behavior.
Clifton’s character referenced a concussion he had in the soapy past at how that impacted his ability to view reality, which appeared to be a wink to the audience.
Those specific lines of dialogue felt like a clue. Bill has not reverted to his Dollar Bill persona. Instead, he is behaving like someone other than himself. Why?

Sheila was talking with Bill in between numerous characters parading in and out of the mansion.
During one of their talks, Sheila detailed, for the first time, how they came to ally.
Brown’s character spoke about accidentally meeting Bill, who was sitting on the beach at night.
Bill did not immediately reach for his smartphone and call the authorities to report her presence.
That, on its own, was an odd reaction because Sheila was assumed dead and then resumed her status as a wanted fugitive.
Yes, Bill was down because Brooke and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) rejected his calls to reunite.
But had he fallen into a state of mind that psychiatrist Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) would diagnose as clinical depression?
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Doctor Does Not Recognize Depression Signs?
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) hit his head on a living room table which resulted in a brain injury.
That event produced bizarre behavior, including Thomas believing that a plastic mannequin was an alternate version of Hope.
Taylor went to Bill’s home with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
It is fair to suggest that Taylor could not recognize the various mental issues Thomas was recently dealing with when he orchestrated a frame against Brooke.
But Thomas is Taylor’s son. She can be given a pass for not recognizing her son’s issues.
But Bill is no relation to Taylor. So, Taylor should have detected something being off inside Bill’s mind, assuming it is.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Head Injury Or Something Else In Play?
If Bill hit his head at some point before Sheila arrived on the beach that fateful night or sometime in the days or weeks preceding it, then Taylor can not be reasonably cited as someone who should have recognized his malady.
But the assumption of a head injury, based on Liam’s reflection with Hope, could be a red herring.
Sheila could be drugging Bill or employing some otherworldly form of control.
Viewers need to know what, if anything, happened when Bill and Sheila met on the beach.
Possibly, that event is not being shown because the answer to questions about Bill’s strange turn would be explained.
So, maybe that retro scene will eventually be shown as part of the storyline reveal on B&B.
